Key Points at a Glance

Please read these before you order

• Custom-made, non-refundable. All customised products are made to your approved design and pre-production sample. They cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged for change of mind.

• Design ownership. If you pay for your design and do not manufacture with WMS, the design is yours. If you manufacture with WMS, the design fee is offset against production — the design is then complimentary, and the Design Assets remain with WMS.

• Exclusive to you. Whether or not the design fee is offset, WMS will not reuse your design for any other client.

• Case studies. Whether or not the design fee is offset, WMS may feature your design and finished product in its portfolio and case studies.

• Your legal rights stand. Faulty or non-conforming goods are remedied under Singapore law.

1. About These Terms

Last updated: 23 June 2026. These Terms & Policies govern your use of the White Mouse Studio store and your purchase of our design, sampling and production services. By requesting a quotation, placing an order or making a payment, you agree to these Terms. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

Who we are. White Mouse Studio Pte Ltd (“WMS”, “we”, “us”), UEN 202218964R, a company registered in Singapore, non-GST registered. Contact: hello@whitemouse.sg.

2. Our Services & Process

WMS designs and manufactures bespoke functional apparel through three separately-funded phases, each ending in your approval before the next begins:

  • Design — five directions and three rounds of options, delivered as approved artwork, a fabric specification and a tech pack.

  • Sample — a prototype, one revision and a pre-production sample delivered to your doorstep. The approved pre-production sample becomes the quality benchmark for production.

  • Production — manufacture against the approved pre-production sample, quality inspection, and delivery.

3. Quotations, Orders & Contract

Production is quoted on an FOB (Free On Board) basis by default, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Quotations are invitations to treat; a binding contract is formed when WMS issues an invoice or contract and you make the corresponding payment. Electronic acceptance is valid under the Electronic Transactions Act 2010. You are responsible for checking and approving all artwork, measurements, colours, quantities, fabric and consignee details before each phase proceeds.

4. Fees & Payment

All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD). WMS is non-GST registered, so no GST is charged.

Item Fee (SGD) Notes
Design 1,500 5 directions + 3 rounds × 3 options
Sample (per design) 480 Prototype + 1 revision + pre-production sample; doorstep delivery
Additional sample revision 150 Per extra revision; non-refundable
Third-party inspection (optional) 600 Pre-shipment by a recognised agency; non-refundable
Production FOB quotation FOB pricing by default; priced per project
  • Minimums. Each production contract must total more than 3,000 units (combining designs and sizes), with a minimum of 200 units per SKU. Contracts that do not meet these minimums will proceed only if otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Production payment. 50% deposit on signing the contract; 50% balance due before release (around day 50 of a 45–60 day production).

  • Offset against production. When you proceed to production, the design fee (SGD 1,500) and first-round sampling fee (SGD 480) for your selected design are offset against your production order. Additional sample revisions are not offset.

  • FOB pricing. Production quotations are FOB (Free On Board) by default. Freight, insurance, import duties and taxes beyond the FOB point are the client’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Third-party inspection. The optional pre-shipment inspection (SGD 600, non-refundable) is carried out by an internationally recognised agency — such as SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, TÜV or QIMA — whose reports are accepted across Europe, Asia and Western markets.

5. Intellectual Property & Design Assets

In short

If you pay for your design and choose not to manufacture with WMS, the design belongs to you. If you proceed to manufacture with WMS, the design fee is offset against production — so the design was complimentary and the Design Assets remain with WMS. Either way, your design is exclusive to you: WMS will not sell or use it for any other client. And in both cases, WMS may feature your design as a case study.

5.1 Ownership of the design

Who owns the Design Assets depends on whether you ultimately pay for the design:

  • You pay and do not manufacture with WMS. If you pay the design fee and choose not to proceed to production with WMS, you have paid for your selected design — and the Design Assets for that selected, paid design belong to you.

  • You manufacture with WMS. If you proceed to production with WMS, the design fee is offset against your production order. The design is therefore complimentary — you do not ultimately pay for it — and the Design Assets remain the property of White Mouse Studio.

5.2 Exclusivity — applies in all cases

Regardless of whether the design fee is offset or paid in full, and regardless of who owns the Design Assets, your design is exclusive to you. WMS will not use, reproduce or sell your design to any other client.

5.3 Case studies & portfolio — applies in all cases

Regardless of whether the design fee is offset or paid in full, WMS holds the right to display and reference your design and the finished products in its portfolio, website, social media, case studies and marketing, unless otherwise agreed with you in writing.

5.4 Drafts and unselected options

You have no rights to any drafts, concepts or options that you have not selected, nor to any Design Assets before the design fee is paid. Unselected options always remain the property of WMS.

5.5 Materials you provide

You warrant that any logos, trademarks, images or content you supply are owned by or licensed to you and do not infringe any third party’s rights. You agree to indemnify WMS against any claim arising from materials you provide.

6. Refunds, Cancellation & Returns

Custom-made products are non-refundable. Because our products are custom-made to your approved specifications and pre-production sample, all customised products (samples and production goods) cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged for change of mind. Singapore does not provide a general cooling-off period for online or custom orders.

6.1 Fees

  • All fees are non-refundable once the relevant work has begun.

  • Additional sample revisions (SGD 150 each) and the optional third-party inspection fee (SGD 600) are non-refundable and are not offset against production.

  • The design fee and first-round sampling fee for your selected design are offset against production when you proceed.

6.2 Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under Singapore law. If goods are defective or do not conform to the approved pre-production sample, we will repair, replace, or — where repair or replacement is not possible or reasonable — offer a price reduction or refund of the affected items, in line with the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 and the Sale of Goods Act.

  • Please inspect goods on receipt and report any defect or non-conformity to hello@whitemouse.sg within 7 days, with photos and your order number.

  • Remedies do not cover misuse, normal wear, or variations within customary manufacturing tolerances.

7. Manufacturing Tolerances

Customary manufacturing tolerances apply to bespoke apparel — for example minor variations in colour, dye lot, print placement and measurements. These are not defects, provided the goods conform to the approved pre-production sample.

8. Delivery, Title & Risk

Production is quoted on an FOB basis unless stated otherwise; shipping, freight, insurance, import duties and taxes beyond the FOB point are the client’s responsibility. You must provide accurate consignee details when requested. Lead times are estimates (production typically 45–60 days). Title to goods passes on full payment; risk passes on delivery to your nominated carrier or address. WMS is not liable for carrier delays.

9. Warranty & Liability

We warrant that production goods will conform to the approved pre-production sample and tech pack. To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your statutory rights, WMS’s total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and WMS is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded; liability limits are intended to be reasonable under the Unfair Contract Terms Act.

10. Confidentiality & Data Protection

WMS keeps your brand and order information confidential and uses it only to deliver your order, except for the portfolio and case-study rights set out in clause 5.5. We handle personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA); please see our Privacy Policy for details. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at hello@whitemouse.sg.

11. Force Majeure

WMS is not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including supply-chain disruption, freight delays, natural events or government action.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Disputes will first be addressed by good-faith negotiation, then mediation (for example at the Singapore Mediation Centre), and failing resolution, submitted to the courts of Singapore.

13. Changes & Contact

WMS may update these Terms & Policies from time to time; the latest version will be posted on this page. Questions? Contact hello@whitemouse.sg.
