Privacy policy

1.1   This policy explains how White Mouse Studio Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202218964R), 20 Collyer Quay, #09-01, Singapore 049319 (“WMS”, “we”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal data, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

1.2   It applies to personal data we receive through whitemouse.sg, by email, WhatsApp or phone, and in the course of a project. Our Data Protection Officer can be reached at hello@whitemouse.sg.

2.1   Enquiries: your name, email address, company, club or team name, phone number (optional), the type of project and the project details you give us.

2.2   Projects: names and contact details of the people we deal with, and of your sample recipient, consignee and freight forwarder; delivery addresses; and the approvals, feedback and correspondence for the project.

2.3   Payments: the payer name and bank details that appear on bank transfers. We do not take card payments on our website.

2.4   Website use: technical data such as IP address, browser, device and pages visited, collected through cookies by our website platform, Shopify.

2.5   We do not ask for NRIC, passport or other national identification numbers, dates of birth or home addresses, unless a home address is where you ask us to deliver samples.

3.1   We use personal data to reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation; to deliver the design, sampling and manufacturing services; to issue contracts and invoices and receive payments; to send samples and hand goods to your forwarder; to keep business, accounting and tax records; and to run and improve our website.

3.2   We send news about White Mouse Studio only if you tick the box to receive it. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4.1   By submitting our enquiry form and ticking the consent box, or by giving us your details for a project, you consent to us using them for the purposes in section 3.

4.2   You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@whitemouse.sg. We will stop using your data within a reasonable time, and tell you if withdrawing means we can no longer provide a service.

5.1   We share personal data only where needed for your project or to run our business: with our partner factories and inspection firms, and freight forwarders and couriers (for example, delivery contacts and shipping marks); with service providers such as Shopify, our email provider and our bank; with our accountants, lawyers and company secretary; and with authorities where the law requires.

5.2   We do not sell personal data.

6.1   Our partner factories are in China, and our service providers, including Shopify, may store data outside Singapore. When we transfer personal data overseas, we take steps to make sure it receives a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA, for example through contractual obligations.

7.1   Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for up to twenty-four (24) months after our last contact.

7.2   Project, contract, invoice and payment records are kept for at least five (5) years, as Singapore law requires for business and tax records.

7.3   After that, we delete or anonymise the data.

8.1   We protect personal data with reasonable security arrangements, limit access to people who need it for the project, and use service providers with recognised security standards.

8.2   If a data breach is likely to cause significant harm, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Commission and the people affected, as the PDPA requires.

9.1   You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, how it has been used in the past year, or ask us to correct it, by emailing hello@whitemouse.sg.

9.2   We respond as soon as reasonably possible, normally within thirty (30) days. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request and will tell you the fee first.

10.1   Our website uses cookies to work properly and to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the website may then not work as intended.

11.1   We may update this policy by publishing a new version on whitemouse.sg.
