Custom Apparel Design, Sampling and Production

YOU SEE THE COSTS. YOU APPROVE EVERY STEP.

Custom apparel projects get lost in back-and-forth, unclear costs and results that miss the brief. Here is exactly how ours run.

Design kit

6–8 weeks

We translate your concept into a complete visual design kit across four rounds of design work, so every decision is settled on paper before anything is made in fabric.

Design work begins once the design fee is received.

You see

  1. Round 1: five design directions. You choose the one closest to your concept.
  2. Rounds 2–4: three refined designs per round, each round built on your feedback.

You approve

The final visual design kit, before anything is cut. With it you receive an estimated production cost range, so you can decide whether to go on to sampling.

Sampling

3 rounds · about 14 days each

Sampling begins once the sample fee is received. Your approved design kit is developed through three rounds of physical samples, each taking about 14 days. Fine-tuning during sampling fixes the real production cost.

The approved pre-production (PP) sample becomes the benchmark the entire production run is measured against.

You see

  1. Round 1 · Prototype: the first physical sample, to check the design, fit and materials.
  2. Round 2 · Fine-tuning: a revised sample with your feedback applied.
  3. Round 3 · Pre-production sample: the final sample, made exactly as it will be produced.

You approve

The PP sample and the confirmed production cost. To proceed, you sign the production contract and pay a 50% deposit on the production total. Production starts on receipt of the deposit.

Production

45–60 days from deposit

Bulk production against the approved PP sample, in partner factories in China that we manage directly. This is not a sourcing hand-off. We hold the specification through the entire run. Around day 30 of production we follow up for your consignee's details.

You see

Production milestones and in-line inspection results as the run progresses.

You approve

Any change to the approved sample. If a material, colour or construction detail needs to change, we stop and ask before production continues.

Quality assurance

In-line & final

In-line inspection during the run, and a final random inspection against an agreed AQL standard before anything ships.

You may also appoint an accredited third-party inspector. We coordinate the inspection; the fee, typically SGD 700–1,400 depending on the inspection company you choose, is payable by you.

You see

An inspection report showing the AQL level applied and the results.

You approve

The remaining 50% balance of the production total, which releases the shipment.

Delivery

FOB, worldwide

FOB pricing in SGD or USD. Freight, duties and taxes are arranged by you. We prepare the export documentation and coordinate directly with your consignee and freight forwarder.

You see

Packing list, commercial invoice, cartons marked to your specification, and the full set of shipping documents.

You approve

Nothing further. It ships.
